On my trip to the watch manufacturers Red Star & Seagull, I discovered the following watch at Red Star in Shenzhen on 15 April 2025 and immediately secured it for you! Some pieces are already sent to me and I can send them immediately after my return on 21 April
Red Star Seagull 1963 Automatic - with multi-calendar, 40mm - incl. additional strap.
You already know the classic design from the corresponding Red Star chronographs - this brand new model does not have a stop function, but the day of the week, Monday and date are displayed - plus a day and night display at position "6" where the sun and moon alternate.
This Red Star is powered by the Seagull ST1654 automatic movement with shock protection and automatic winding in both directions.
Stainless steel case made of high-quality 316L steel, with 20mm lug width, 5 ATM density and 40mm diameter.
Anti-reflective sapphire crystal and glass back.
The delivery includes the original nylon pull-through strap in olive PLUS a high-quality RIOS1931 INZELL Bio leather strap (RRP EUR 52.-) in light brown, dark brown or black - or alternatively with the Molnija Milanaise stainless steel bracelet. (See gallery for pictures; selection above)
Incl. watch case and as always with perfect final inspection, 2 years warranty and if necessary a favourable repair service.

In 1961, the Tianjin Watch Factory was already known and famous in China for producing the first Chinese wristwatch. This watch manufacturer was then commissioned to produce the first Chinese aviator chronograph for the Air Force of the People's Liberation Army. By October 1962, the factory had produced three batches of this pilot's watch.
At the end of 1962, 38 experts from various fields (Chinese industry minister, flight commanders, military personnel ...) came together to test the watch. After that, the Tianjin Watch Factory was officially commissioned to produce the watch. In 1963, this watch manufacturer was already producing and delivering 1,400 pilot's watches to the Chinese Air Force. This Seagull 1963 Luftwaffe watch offered here is now an official remake of the historic 1963 model
