The happiest dance of a second!
The dial of the "Happy Second" looks just black at first glance. But viewed from a certain angle, it reveals grooved lines that create a fascinating play of rectangles for the eye. The dial comes to life and thus creates an emotional connection. You are surprised by this initially invisible but nevertheless present detail.
To arouse even more emotions, the hour display of the chronograph at 6 o'clock was designed in avant-garde colors. And as soon as the start/stop button at 2 o'clock is pressed, the watch comes to life and the multi-colored second hand begins its merry dance to the beat of 60 seconds.
The case of this model is a completely new development. With a diameter of 42 mm and a height of just 12.40 mm, it is remarkably flat for an ETA 2894 caliber chronograph movement. The rounded design of the case and the buttons on the sides gives the watch an elegant and modern aesthetic. The front glass has also been innovatively developed. Unlike conventional domed sapphire glasses, this model has a cylindrical glass that gives the flat look of the case an interesting contrast. The interplay of these elements ensures an elegant appearance with deliberately placed color accents and creates a harmonious look and an excellent fit on every wrist.
Inside ticks the coveted and precise ETA 2894 chronograph, whose total height is just 6.10 mm. It offers a stop function with a central second, a decentralized minute display at 9 o'clock and an hour display at 6 o'clock.
The rotor is, as with all Alexander Shorokhoff watches, artfully engraved and refined by hand.
The soft calf leather strap with artistic stainless steel detail and colored edges fits seamlessly into the overall concept of the watch.
