The "Vintage" line of the Alexander Shorokhoff watch manufactory is now completed with a new edition of the model "Lucky 8".
The entire presentation of the watch is now much more complex, because it is supported by filigree, sweeping hand engravings and recesses, through which the movement in the open dial is visible. Not only the board but also the date handwheel is hand engraved, while the three mounting screws are blued by hand for a better look.
The main element of this watch - the date display - is manufactured in the same way as the previous model. A special calendar disc in silver with a red mark is produced and attached to the movement. 31 small windows are cut out on the dial. The red mark in one of these windows shows the current date, which can be read on the outside scale. The date numbers have also been renewed and shine in a die-cut version with silver plating in new splendor.
To make a "balance" to the date, all hands were colored red. At the same time, the hour and minute hands preserve the design à la Alexander Shorokhoff, but are more noticeable thanks to new, small black decorative lines. The second hands are half black and red for readability.
In contrast to the colors black, red and silver, a red-gold-plated "Alexander Shorokhoff" logo is added. This is not a mistake, but intentional. This is to set a mark to emphasize again that "Alexander Shorokhoff" watches are different and stand out from the clocks of other competitors.
The caliber is - just like the previous model, the movement 2416 by Poljot. This caliber has not been produced for about twenty years and is now one of the "vintage" rarities.
It is elaborately reworked in the Alexander Shorokhoff manufactory, re-oiled, hand-engraved and then precisely adjusted.
This watch is available in four different versions: stainless steel, with red gold plated case, black PVD coated or with yellow hands. Each version is limited to only 50 pieces.
