Like all watches from the Balticus Moonfish collection, this model is a true “Made in Poland” watch, created by Polish designer Mateusz Przystała (co-owner of the D61 design studio and the rising star of Polish design).
As a diving watch, this watch also requires a rotating bezel - this is a completely new, unique bezel - with a gradation on two levels; this gives the bezel a three-dimensional look. In addition to aesthetic values, this type of production enables much safer operation - even with diving gloves.
"Rolex" steel guarantees quality.
When it comes to the materials used, these Balticus Moonfish watches are outstanding - high-strength 904L steel is used here. The legendary Rolex watches are also made from this steel. This 904L steel has high molybdenum and copper content and very low carbon content - it is used for housings where excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance is required. This steel alloy is significantly harder than the commonly used 316L steel and is therefore more difficult to process. Thanks to the 904L steel, this watch is more scratch-resistant and its polished surfaces keep their incredible shine for much longer.

The custom-made hands, indices and the numbers in the bezel are equipped with Swiss "background Super Luminova X1" - after approx. 2 hours they shine 60% brighter than normal Super Luminova models with "A" classification.
Its all about the details - Balticus watches takes care of even the smallest details! The Super-Luminova X1 lighting has finally reached the bezel, providing better visibility during the dive. A notable detail is the stylized letter B, which glows beautifully in the dark and is the logo of the Balticus brand.

Reliable Japanese premium automatic movement.
The Moonfish is powered by the Japanese premium movement Miyota 9015, with 28,800 vibrations per hour, 24 jewels, shock protection and automatic winding with a 42-hour power reserve. With a frequency of 28,800 A/h (half oscillations per hour), the Miyota 9015 works very precisely and the long second hand circles smoothly. If the 42-hour power reserve has been used up, you can simply re-energize the watch by manually winding it with around 20 crown revolutions - or you can simply wear it on your wrist. The Miyota 9015 also has a ball-bearing rotor with high winding efficiency and a Swiss lever escapement. The Citizen Parashock shock protection provides appropriate protection in the event of impacts.
