A tourbillon is a legend among watches, known for its exceptional precision. This revolutionary mechanism was developed by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1795 and has since had a significant impact on the world of watchmaking. Over the course of this century, not only was Breguet's Tourbillon technology developed, but many other innovations and discoveries were also made. This Tourbillon is therefore dedicated not only to the discoverer of the tourbillon, but also to the century itself, which witnessed numerous revolutionary discoveries. This watch embodies a symbiosis of tradition, innovation and the spirit of discovery of this century.
The 3400.PTS was chosen as the appropriate movement, which contains the basic functions such as hour, minute and second, as well as the eye-catching tourbillon cage, which is prominently placed at 6 o'clock. The seconds are displayed via Poljot-International's innovative "tourbillon bridge", which is designed in the shape of an arrow.
The bridges of the movement are decorated with Geneva stripes and adorned with blued screws.
The power reserve of the movement when fully wound is at least 72 hours, which allows the watch to be wound only every three days.
The simple yet high-quality dial is made of brass that was first brushed with a sunburst finish and then coated in silver. The classically designed hour numerals are placed on the dial as rose gold appliqués. The time is displayed by two blued steel hands, with the second being visualized by the arrow on the tourbillon bridge.
The elegant case is made of stainless steel and with a diameter of 42 mm is slightly smaller than other tourbillons from Poljot-International.

With a height of just 9.5 mm without the top glass and 12.47 mm with domed sapphire glass, it is perfectly sized and fits almost any wrist.
The three-part case has been refined in two finishes: the upper bezel and base have been polished, while the middle part has been brushed, which creates a high-contrast image from the side and makes the case appear optically flatter. The entire design is coordinated down to the smallest detail and appears harmonious and perfect.

"In order to eliminate changes in the position of a pocket watch (and the resulting inaccuracy), Abraham Louis Breguet (1747-1823) invented the tourbillon in 1795. The patent was granted in Paris in 1801, and in the patent specification it is referred to as a "Régulateur à Tourbillon". In this case, the escape wheel, the anchor and the so-called balance are installed on a small plate in a bogie, a cage sitting on the shaft of the seconds wheel. The seconds drive is screwed to the bogie from below and firmly installed on the lower plate. The bogie, in the middle of which the balance swings exactly above the shaft of the seconds wheel, rotates around the screwed-on seconds wheel. The drive of the escape wheel runs on this. So when the seconds wheel rotates once per minute, the tourbillon (the plate) follows this rotation. As a result, position or center of gravity errors no longer occur or are corrected once per minute. (depending on the tourbillon) balanced."
The tourbillon is considered, along with the minute repeater (chime mechanism like a church clock), to be the most complex complication in mechanical watches!
