This Vostok Komandirskie automatic has a solid case made of brushed stainless steel with a diameter of 42mm (with crown 46mm), 15mm height and 20mm lug width.

The case is equipped with a rotating bezel - slightly curved plexiglass and screwed crown. 20 ATM = 200 meters water resistant.

Weight of the watch including metal strap 170 grams.

Black dial with luminous numerals & luminous hands.

Vostok automatic caliber 2431 with 32 jewels, 19,800 vibrations/hour. , automatic rotor, shock protection and a power reserve of approx. 31 hours.

Delivery including Vostok watch pass with serial number, with Vostok box and solid Vostok stainless steel strap including safety folding clasp.

It takes a little getting used to reading the time on these 24-hour clocks - it's all the more fun when people ask you about the supposedly wrong time :-) Instead of twice a day, the hour hand only turns around its axis once a day - such clocks were originally designed for people who couldn't tell the difference between morning and afternoon based on their surroundings, e.g. polar researchers, submarine crews etc....

The russian watch factory Vostok-inc. "Tschistopolsky" produces these watches under the name "VOSTOK" (Russian: East) in many different versions and is very well known and popular among connoisseurs of the Russian watch scene due to its robustness and price-performance ratio. The watches come from the city of Chistopol in the Russian province of Tatarstan. Production first started in Moscow, but had to be relocated to Tatarstan during World War II.
