Red Star BRONZE Chronograph 38mm with sapphire crystal and swan neck fine adjustment - in a solid bronze case!
Clever: the watch has a screwed crystal back with a stainless steel frame - this avoids direct skin contact with the bronze case and possible discoloration on the wrist!
Delivered with original textile strap and with one additional strap (selection above - see picture gallery) from RIOS1931 - handmade in Augsburg, Bavaria.
Either the Louisiana Crocodile Calf, the St.Petersburg made of Juchten leather, the Copenhagen pull-through strap or the new, very comfortable to wear INZELL organic leather strap.
I also recommend the RIOS1931 FRENCH leather strap in orange !
My personal favorite for this watch: the RIOS1931 leather straps INZELL in light brown-cognac. (Mocca dark brown also looks great on the watch in the bronze case though!)
This watch has a case with 38mm diameter (with crown 41 mm), 14 mm height and 18 mm lug width.
This Red Star has a mechanical column wheel chronograph caliber Seagull No. ST19 with manual winding, approx. 45 hours of power reserve, 21,600 vibrations per hour, shock protection and 21 jewels - with swan neck fine adjustment!
Seagull in Tianjin bought the production facilities of Venus from Switzerland in the 1960s and this special caliber is therefore identical or the successor to the legendary Venus 150 column wheel caliber! (Identical to the Poljot 3017 column wheel caliber)
These ST19 movements are of the highest quality and undergo a ISO9001 quality control at the producer; after receiving the watches in our office in Munich, we test them again in detail and of course once again before shipping - these watches do not require service every few years, but if the worst comes to the worst, our watchmakers are available to provide very affordable repairs/service with original spare parts. (this is only possible for the watches purchased from us!)
The salmon coloured metal dial has Chinese characters ("made in China") , luminous Arabic numerals, bronze-colored cathedral luminous hands and a blue stop seconds hand.
The “Red Star” at position “12” completes the classic design.
