Poljot International Automatic Mikhail Gorbachev with Seiko NH36 caliber and 42mm diameter!

On the occasion of Mikhail Gorbachev's 70th birthday in 2000, the designer Alexander Shorokhoff developed and produced an anniversary watch for him. In the 1990s, Gorbachev's face was known all over the world. His level of fame was higher than that of any other idol.

This watch model from 2000 has long been sold out. Now the Poljot International manufactory is presenting the third edition of the successful "Gorbachev watch".

Since Mikhail Gorbachev was one of the men who helped open the "Iron Curtain" between East and West, the watch features two flags symbolizing the transition from the USSR to the Russian Federation. The light blue writing on the edge of the dial also symbolizes the country's renewal with the words "Perestroika", "Peace", "Democratization", "Privatization", "Freedom", "Glasnost" and "Reform".

This watch is produced in a limited edition of only 100 pieces.
