The Slava split-time hand stopwatch is proof of especially high-precision mechanics!
This Russian stopwatch with the silvered metal dial with black numerals and with a split-time hand, also called ‘rattrapante’, features the following specialty: a secondary red second hand runs above the black second hand itself.
By pressing the left push button, intermediate times can be stopped. The red second hand will stop. By re-pushing the button, the secondary hand catches up with the primary second hand so that the timing of another intermediate time is possible.
The main crown serves to activate the entire stopwatch process and to wind the watch. It has approximately 10-hour winding.
The watch features the caliber 5498 with 20 jewels, breguet spring, running reserve 12 hours and 36.000 semi-oscillations. Weight: 225 grams. Diameter: 65 mm. Maximum stopping of 30 minutes.
