This STRELA alarm has a polished-brushed stainless steel watchcase with a diameter of 44mm (with crown 45mm and lug to lug width 50mm) and a height of 13mm.
22mm bandwidth.
This massive watchcase is designed after the famous Poljot / Sekonda alarm watches from the 80's - the hands, indexes and scales are exactly the same as at the Soviet models!
This Strela has a cyrillic lettered white dial with luminous indexes, silver hands with luminous inlays and red tips, a red second hand and a triangular alarm hand.
With hardened mineral crystal.
The watchback, fastened with a screw ring, is elaborately decorated and shows the cosmonaut Alexey Leonov on the first trip to the cosmos on March 18, 1965.
In the Earth's orbit, Leonow was the first person to leave his space ship (Woschod 2) and float freely in space. With the space ship he was only connected by a 4.5 m long safety line and hovered about 12 minutes in the cosmos.
This special alarm watch is powered by the well known Poljot alarm caliber 2612.1 ( identical to the AS.Schild caliber ) with 18 jewels, two separate spring housings, monometallic steel balance , shock protection, ca. 40hours power reserve and 18.000 halfrotations/hour.
This famous Poljot alarm caliber is out of production for several years now and this is why all russian alarm watches get increasingly rare and valuable. These calibers are still from original Poljot stock.
The alarm clock rattles for about 13 seconds.
Limited to only 150 pieces!
Comes with Strela strap, RIOS1931 Buffalo leather strap in black with white stitches and Strela box.
