Model AY-60 - Model with chronograph (stop function) at position "6". The chronograph can be started, stopped and reset by pressing the right crown.
This russian built-in aircraft chronograph - manufactured in Chelyabinsk - is still used today in many aircraft and helicopters of the Russian Air Force. While the Russian military initially had to use an imported built-in clock with “Le Coultre Chronoflight Caliber 310-5321” for its aircraft, the watch manufacturers of the former Soviet Union soon began producing their own clocks based on the Swiss model with a movement of their own design.
The shown board clock - Mod. AY 60 has a board clock caliber with 25 jewels, monometallic screw balance, 18000 A/h, anchor escapement, 2 barrels, second stop, chronograph function and at least 72 hours power reserve.
The built-in temperature-controlled heater is supplied with 27 volt operating voltage via two connections on the back of the clock and works from <0°C.
This extremely resistant built-in clock is a real eye-catcher and is also perfect as a desk clock. These clocks are stock items from Soviet stocks - unused & rare in this condition!
